The Lead Imaginarian: Joe Cheal
In focusing his training, coaching and consultancy experience into the business environment, Joe has inspired others to achieve outstanding results. Since 1993, he has worked with a broad range of organisational cultures, helping 1000s of people revolutionise the way they work with others. He specialises in human development and psychological wellbeing. His training and coaching sessions are often described as “humorous, thought provoking, interactive and leading to highly practical ideas”.
He holds an MSc in Organisational Development and Neuro Linguistic Technologies, a degree in Philosophy and Psychology, a diploma in Performance Coaching and a diploma in Hypnotherapy, Psychotherapy and NLP.
Joe is also an NLP Master Trainer who enjoys learning new things… by exploring diverse fields of science, language, philosophy and psychology and then integrating these ‘learnings’. He is author of “What Do You Need?”, “Driving Your Destiny”, “Solving Impossible Problems”, “Who Stole My Pie?” and co-author of “The Model Presenter”‘ “The Relationship Dance”, “The Little Book of Difficult People (and how to deal with them)”, “The Little Book of Resilience” and “The Little Book of Persuasion: Updated”. He is also the creator and editor of the “Powered By NLP” book series and a peer reviewed journal: Acuity.
He is the lead business mentor for Gatwick Diamond Business, the career coach for TOPRA and is an active branch committee member of the CIPD.
Lead Imaginarian Coach & Supervisor: Melody Cheal
She brings 30 years of experience working with CEO’s, Directors and Leaders at all levels to any Coaching session you book with her. She will help you by challenging you in a way that is often missing in the work place of senior leaders. She was once described as giving feedback with an iron fist within a velvet glove. Do you need that kind of a mirror to help you sharpen up your performance?
She also brings this experience to Accredited Training for the next generation of Coaches via her Accredited Association for Coaching Diploma. This training has been successfully delivered in house over the last four years helping build coaching cultures within a number of global businesses.
She holds a degree in Psychology and a diploma in Psychotherapy and NLP, Master Practitioner in NLP and has a MSc in Applied Positive Psychology. She is also a certified Master Trainer of NLP and a Trainer of Hypnosis.
She is author of “Becoming Happy” and co-author of “The Model Presenter”, “The Relationship Dance”, “The Little Book of Resilience” and “The Little Book of Persuasion”.

Lead Associate: Jo Coulson
Jo draws on her 25 years of strategic experience in the global financial
services industry, working in London, Tokyo and New York to motivate and empower others to continually develop. As a skilled trainer, coach and highly motivated learning professional, Jo has worked alongside and supported thousands of people in various organisations, helping them to be market leaders in their sectors.
Jo is an excellent communicator with well-developed interpersonal skills and has a passion for transformation in ever-changing and demanding business environments. Utilising the learning from her MA and NLP qualifications (Trainer and Master Practitioner), Jo is able to constructively and empathetically challenge the thinking of others to reframe their experiences.
Honouring her values of trust, honesty, and integrity, coupled with her warm, friendly personality, Jo regularly receives feedback such as: “Jo quickly builds and maintains rapport with each individual and the group, which really enhances the learning experience enjoyed by everybody on the course.”
